Business and Economic Impact of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is spurring a host of grim projections:  more than a million hospital beds potentially needed for patients in the U.S., world financial markets down by nearly 30 percent, countless small businesses folding and service industry workers left jobless.

To help separate fact from fiction and legitimate concern from panic, the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School convened six top faculty researchers to discuss the likely effects of the pandemic on business and the economy.  Listen to the archived audio file or read the transcript.
